Summer Course 2023: Qualitative Research Methods in Health Care

What
This basic course teaches the participants in 5 days how to start from a research question, conducting a qualitative research and progress to writing a scientific paper in qualitative research.

The international guest speaker of the Summer School edition 2023 is Dr. Marta Wanat, a senior Qualitative Researcher in behavioral science from Nuffield Department of Primary Care, Health Sciences, University of Oxford, UK. She will talk about “Ethics in action”: considering ethical dilemmas in qualitative studies” and “More complex designs: the challenges and opportunities in conducting qualitative longitudinal studies”.

Who
Early career researchers, PhD students, Master students (max 5), professionals, in a field related to health care. Experience in qualitative research is not required.

Registration fee
Before 30 April: €940
After 1 May: €1000
Master students: €640 (max 5 students)

University of Antwerp students are entitled to a refund of €150.
